ORDINANCE NO. 100

An Ordinance of the Township of Kennett, Chester County, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, expanding the existing Agricultural Security Area

          WHEREAS, a proposal for creation of an Agricultural Security Area within Kennett Township was submitted to the Board of Supervisors in accordance with the provisions of the Agricultural Area Security Law, Act 43 of 198l, as amended; and

          WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors deemed it appropriate to create the Agricultural Security Area and did so by adopting Ordinance No. 82 on the 19th day of November 1990; and

          WHEREAS, since that time, several property owners have asked that their lands be included in the Agricultural Security Area.

          NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of Kennett Township that the existing Agricultural Security Area be expanded to include the parcels of land identified in Exhibit "A" and attached to this Ordinance.  This Ordinance No. 100 and Ordinance No. 82 shall be in effect for seven years from the 19th day of November 1990, and shall be reviewed every seven years thereafter in accordance with the provisions of the Act.

          ADOPTED this 15th day of August 1994.
