ORDINANCE NO. 161

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 132, THE ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE OFFICIAL MAP OF KENNETT TOWNSHIP, BY AMENDING THE OFFICIAL MAP BY THE ADDITION OF THE "WAYS LANE AREA OFFICIAL MAP"

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 132 was adopted by Kennett Township on January 7, 2002, pursuant to the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code, Act of 1968, P.L. 805, No. 247 as reenacted and amended; and

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 132 makes provision for changes in the Official Map by the adoption of an amending ordinance approving the amendment to the Official Map; and

WHEREAS, all requirements of Article IV of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code have been met with regard to the requirements for the adoption of amendments to the Official Map adding Ways Lane and notice to the County of Chester and to other municipalities.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Supervisors of Kennett Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania, as follows:

SECTION 1.  The Official Map of Kennett Township is amended by incorporating the provisions contained in the "Ways Lane Area Official Map" dated July, 2005 and prepared by Gilmore & Associates, Inc.

SECTION 2.  Upon adoption of this ordinance, a certified copy of the Official Map amendment adopted hereby and this ordinance shall be forwarded, as required by the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code, to the Chester County Planning Commission and to any adjacent municipality entitled to a copy under Section 408 thereof.

SECTION 3.  In all other respects, the terms of Ordinance No. 132 are ratified and confirmed.
