Free Landscaping Workshops! Limited space available!!
Do you need help with your garden? Wondering where to start? We will show you how to landscape using native plants to make beautiful gardens and landscapes with four-season interest and benefits to a healthy environment for our community.
Each workshop consists of two sessions:
Session 1 focuses on basic design principals and priorities to create a plan for your plantings and to see how your yard fits into the overall connected habitat of Kennett Township and Borough. A connected green corridor promotes clean water, reduces flooding, and protects wildlife including birds, butterflies, and native pollinators.
Session 2 builds on the work done in the first session and provides experienced help from landscapers, Master Gardeners and Master Watershed Stewards with customized planting design, plant selection, and advice on installation and care for your new garden areas.
The workshop will be held on two Thursdays, January 30 and February 6, at 7pm in the Kennett Township Public Meeting room. There is no charge for the workshops, but registration is required: Click Here to Register!
