Kaolin Bridge Announcement

This week per PADOT requirements, we were given advanced notification that J.D. Eckman Inc. will be implementing a detour of Kaolin Road over the West Branch of Red Clay Creek, in Kennett Township. This project is starting on or about July 13, 2020 and is expected to continue until approximately February 15, 2021. This detour is necessary for the replacement of the existing bridge structure over the Red Clay Creek. To see a map of the PADOT designated detour and to read the full letter, click HERE.

Yard Waste Lot Temporary Closures

Beginning tomorrow (Thursday, June 18^th) and running all through next week, Weaver Mulch will be onsite to grind the Yard Waste Lot pile located at 557 Bayard Road. For the public’s safety, we will have “Road Closed” signs up while they are grinding during the day. These signs will come down and the lot will reopen at 4:00 each day for your convenience.
