Board of Supervisors Meeting

This Wednesday, December 2nd at 7pm

We wanted to remind you about the upcoming Boarding of Supervisors meeting this Wednesday, December 2^nd at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom. For detailed instructions for how to participate and the agenda, click HERE. Please note that the agenda will be updated/amended on Wednesday before the meeting pending the results of the Planning Commission and the Trails and Sidewalks Committee meetings happening tomorrow night. EMS Delivery

One agenda item for Wednesday is: Consider Consolidation of EMS Delivery Services. If you have not been following along, on October 21^st, the topic of EMS delivery was discussed and it was decided that this conversation required a special meeting, which was held on October 29^th. At that meeting, the Board voted to table the discussion for a month. This coming Wednesday the Board will vote on whether or not to consolidate EMS delivery for Kennett Township. Last Wednesday, Chairman Leff sent out an email that provided a broad overview of this topic with links and resources to help inform you on the matter. To read that email, click HERE.

Chandler Mill Road & the Kennett Greenway

On Wednesday's agenda, you will also notice a Kennett Greenway/Chandler Mill Road Presentation. This presentation will begin the discussion about how the Kennett Greenway could come to fruition on Chandler Mill Road and we welcome any and all participation. Discussions will continue at the next regularly scheduled Board of Supervisors meeting on Wednesday, December 16^th.

Looking Ahead

Special Board of Supervisors Meeting 12/7

As previously advertised in the Daily Local Newspaper, township email, social media and our website, the Board of Supervisors will hold a special meeting Monday, December 7^th to decide whether or not to enact a Local Service Tax via Ordinance. A Local Service Tax is a $52.00 per year tax on individuals who work in the Township and earn more than $12,000.00 a year. This issue has been discussed at length at previous meetings. We recommend watching the meeting from October 21^st and/or November 18^th for more information. The agenda will be available the Friday before the meeting on the Agenda Center.
