Dear Kennett Residents and Business Owners, 

As you likely have heard by now, we will be experiencing the effects of Hurricane Ida tomorrow into Thursday. Please take any precautions you need to this evening and NEVER drive through flooded roadways. There is currently a Flash Flood Watch in effect for our area, and while we do not pretend to be meteorologists, we're pretty confident that will be upgraded and there will be flooding. Our Road Crew and emergency service providers are standing by and will be working hard to help keep the streets clear and you all safe.

Please stay tuned to our Facebook and Twitter accounts for the latest. We strongly encourage everyone to attend tomorrow night's Board of Supervisors meeting virtually - and if for some reason it cannot happen due to power outages, we will circulate that via email and social media as well.
