Kennett Area Community Winter Coat Drive
This year marks the 10th Anniversary of the Kennett Square community coat drive outreach program. Founded by the Unionville Presbyterian Church & The Kennett Square Rotary Club, coats have been donated and delivered for children of the Maternal Child Health Consortium (MCHS), a non-profit organization giving to children and adults, committed to assuring children in the Chester County region to start healthy, stay healthy, and succeed in school. In addition to the MCHS, other local non-profit organizations in need have been helped by this great cause.
The Kennett Township Police Department partnered with the Longwood Fire Company and has been a participating member in the previous years. This year, The KTPD, Longwood Fire Company & Kennett Fire Company No. 1 will be collecting coats as a community outreach to children and adults in need with Unionville Presbyterian Church & The Kennett Square Rotary Club.
For your convenience, we have three separate locations for a drop-off. We request that any new or slightly used coats you are willing to donate be dropped off at any of these locations designated to our drop boxes by December 5th.
