The Yard Waste Lot will be closing Tuesday, November 29^th to allow the contractor to grind the woody material into mulch. The lot will reopen on December 19^th assuming the contractor does not have any significant delays. Our apologies for the short-term inconvenience, but this is the safest method for the workers as well as residents. Please do not attempt to drop off yard waste during this time. The area for material recycling will remain open.

The yard waste drop off area is a popular benefit for the residents of Kennett Township. A portion of the mulch will be left behind for resents’ use. If you have any questions, please contact Ted Otteni, Director of Public Works at (610) 388-1300 ext. 112.
