Spar Hill Farm Closed Temporarily

Spar Hill Farm Demolition 

A quick update on Spar Hill Farm.  All asbestos has been removed.  The only structure left to be demolished is the concrete silo.  We appreciate everyone's efforts to remain off the property while the demolition is taking place. Please check Facebook for additional updates and when Spar Hill will be reopened to the public.

Public Meeting Room Unveiling 

We are anticipating being back in our Public Meeting Room starting March 1, 2023 for the Board of Supervisors Public Meeting.  We are excited to be back and unveil the newest renovations since being displaced back in August 2022.  A very special Thank You to the contractors, staff and Public Works Team who assisted with the completion of this project.

Chester County Planning Commission

Chester County Trails Master Plan 

The Chester County Trails Master Plan Public Survey is now live! We invite all Chester County trail users to participate in the survey to provide us with your feedback on trails in Chester County. The Master Plan will establish a framework for future trail development in Chester County; creating connections between different trail networks, providing more equitable trail access, and filling critical trail "gaps" in the trail network.

Brandywine Red Clay Alliance

Red Clay Cleanup 

The Annual Red Clay Clean Up is coming Saturday, March 25 from 8 am to noon.  

Volunteers will assemble at 8:00 AM at either the Ashland Nature Center in Hockessin, DE or Anson B. Nixon Park or the Kennett Area YMCA outdoor Pool in Kennett Square to help with clean up of 98 miles of roads and streams in the Red Clay Valley watershed.  Click Here to learn more!
