Board of Supervisors Public Meeting

The Kennett Township Board of Supervisors will hold an In Person public meeting on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at 7:00PM in the Public Meeting Room. Click Here to access the agenda.

Historical Commission Meeting

The Kennett Township Historical Commission will hold an In Person meeting on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 7:00PM in the Public Meeting Room. Township Offices Closed

The Township Office will be CLOSED on Friday, April 7, 2023. We will REOPEN on Monday, April 10, 2023 from 8:00AM to 4:30PM.

April is National Fair Housing Month

The Fair Housing Act, signed on April 11, 1968, is a national law that prohibits discrimination in the sale, rental, and financing of housing based on race, color, national origin, religion, and gender. The Act was later amended to include protection for people with disabilities and families with children.

Kennett Area Community Service (KACS) in partnership with the Office of State Representative Christina Sappey will be celebrating the 55th anniversary of the signing of the Fair Housing Act on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 from 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm at the Mary D. Lang Kindergarten Center • 409 West Center Street, Kennett Square, Pa 19348

This event is free and open to the public with plenty of information tables, a children’s corner, fun facts activities, food, raffles, and door prizes. Programming will be in English and Spanish.

Spar Hill Clean Up Day

Help us prepare the former farmstead for the opening ceremony and the summer season on Saturday, April 22nd from 10:00AM to 3:00PM.

Feel free to come and go as you please. Any amount of time and service will be rewarding and appreciated. Clear overgrown vegetation, spread topsoil & mulch…General clean up. Install a few bird houses and plant some flowers. Feel free to bring a few yard tools: Rakes - Shovels – Wheelbarrows - Pruning sheers. Refreshments will be served! Kennett Library's Earth Day Plant Swap

Kennett Library's plant swap will take place Saturday, April 22nd at Pavilion One in Anson B Nixon Park from 10:00AM - 2:00PM. Pavilion One is located across from the Stage and next to the playground.

Kennett Library & Resource Center Tours
