An Abundant Year for EAFC

Emergent Abundance Farming Collective have an abundant year!  November and into December have been busy taking in the watering lines, covering crops that are sturdy enough to continue despite ice and snow, seeding cover crops, harvesting last bits of potatoes and herbs and hardy greens, planting more garlic, and laying mulch along pathways to keep access to the garden easier.  EAFC continues to share the last of their bounty to KACS and their families.

Work has now shifted indoors starting with designing next year's garden, evaluating what worked, and what needs revision and rethinking. EAFC was awarded a grant for $5,000 from Chester County Community Foundation to produce short instructional videos. This project will allow those interested to learn about the process and more readily engage and hopefully join in. Videos will be posted on the website, shared through Open Collective and also be shared through the Kennett Library opening to a wider audience and therefore amplifying the work of EAFC.
