Police Week 2025

Honoring Our Fallen, Supporting Our Survivors

National Police Week is observed annually in the United States. It is a time to honor and remember law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty, and to recognize the daily sacrifices made by police officers and their families.  Established by John F. Kennedy in 1962, this week includes memorial services, vigils and ceremonies across the country, most notably in Washington, D.C. where thousands pay tribute to fallen heroes. National Police Week serves as a powerful reminder of the dedication and bravery of those who serve and protect our communities.

We are grateful to our Kennett Township Police for the work that they do for our community on a daily basis.
