A FREE program sponsored by Hadley & presented by Kennett Heritage Center and Kennett Township Historical Commission.

Bruce Mowday and Mark Bowden Talk History

Author and journalist Mark Bowden will explore with local author Bruce Mowday the inspiration behind his long list of books on our area’s history. What do Andrew Wyeth, a murderous family, the Brandywine River, General Lafayette, and the recent international fascination with Danilo Cavalcante all have in common? They have been topics of Bruce’s ongoing fascination with and portrayal of Chester County’s history - much of which happened near our own Kennett Square. Due to limited seating (in the Kennett Library Auditorium), seat reservations are necessary/required/highly recommended. Reservations can be made here. Saturday, June 28th at 3 pm at the Kennett Library Auditorium.
