BOS MEETING RECAP

BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING RECAP:

The Kennett Township Board of Supervisors met on Wednesday, September 3rd. The meeting began with the presentation of the Certificate of Law Enforcement Accreditation to the Kennett Township Police Department. You can read more details about why accreditation matters on the KTPD Facebook post.

The other main topic for the meeting was the presentation of the 2024 Audit by Chris Herr from Maillie. He reviewed that the auditors' report expresses an unmodified opinion on all funds, no instances of noncompliance materials to the financial statement were disclosed during the audit, and no material weaknesses relating to the audit of the financial statements were identified during the audit. This is the second year in a row that the Township Finance Department has achieved a "clean" audit.

The full meeting recording can be found here. The next meeting of the Board of Supervisors is Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at 7pm.
