OCTOBER IS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS MONTH

Each October, we recognize Domestic Violence Awareness Month to raise awareness, honor survivors, and promote resources that help break the cycle of abuse. Domestic violence affects individuals of all ages, genders, and backgrounds — and community support plays a crucial role in prevention and healing. This month, take time to learn the signs of abuse, support local organizations that assist survivors, and help spread the message that everyone deserves to feel safe at home.

If you or someone you know needs help, confidential support is available 24/7 through the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-SAFE (7233) or thehotline.org.

Learn more about Domestic Violence Awareness month by visiting Domestic Violence Center of Chester County
