To the Kennett Township Community:
 
I am spending today in Harrisburg meeting with our legislatures asking them to support a grant to Kennett Township. My task today is to inform them of the needed safety improvements to Five Points Intersection. I need our full community’s help to raise support for our application.
 
We have applied for grant funding to improve the safety at Five Points Intersection (Rt.2 & Hillendale Road) by installing a single lane roundabout . The grant amount is $2,036,880. The Multimodal Fund Transportation grant is very competitive, and we have been denied before.
 
Please call our state legislatures and ask them to support our Multimodal Fund Transportation Grant Application in the amount of $2,036,880.00. Your help is greatly appreciated and will go a long way toward obtaining the grant.
