KENNETT TOWNSHIP BOARD OF SUPERVISORS The Kennett Township Board of Supervisors will hold a hybrid meeting on Wednesday, December 17th at 7:00pm in the Public Meeting Room. Items on the agenda include: The Board will consider several ordinances and resolutions related to public safety codes, volunteer service tax credit procedures, Fire & EMS tax credits, the 2025 tax levy, police pension appropriations, year-end financial transfers, and fund balance policies and planning. The Board will also take time to recognize Dr. Richard Leff for his years of service as a Kennett Township Supervisor. Additional business includes authorizing agreements and payments related to East Penn Railroad, approving December bill vouchers, executing a stormwater operations and maintenance agreement, and accepting and formalizing sanitary sewer infrastructure and easements associated with the Kennett Point/Kennett Gateway development. Department Head Reports will be presented by Administration, Finance & HR, Planning & Zoning, the Police Department, and Public Works, followed by Board of Supervisors comments and Public Comment. KTPD ANNUAL HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE The Kennett Township Police Department is proud to announce its Annual Holiday Food Drive! This season, we invite community members to join us in supporting local families in need. By donating non-perishable food items, you can help ensure that every household in our area has a warm and joyful holiday. Drop-Off Location: Kennett Township Police Department & Township Building Collection Dates: now - December 17th-ends this Wednesday! Hours: During normal business hours Items such as canned vegetables, soups, pasta, rice, peanut butter, and other non-perishable foods are all welcome. Every donation, big or small, makes a meaningful difference in the lives of those facing food insecurity. Let’s come together as a community to spread generosity, kindness, and holiday cheer. Kennett Township currently has openings on the Planning Commission, Historical Commission and the Building Code Appeals Board. All residents are encouraged to apply. Your voice, skills, and experience can help guide meaningful decisions on things like land use, environmental concerns, and community planning.
