Kennett Township wishes everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving! đŚ Our offices will be closed on Thursday, November 27th, and Friday, November 28th in observance of the holiday. We will reopen on Monday, December 1st for regular business hours. We hope you enjoy a wonderful holiday filled with gratitude, good company, and delicious food!
ENVIORNMENTAL ADVISORY COUNCIL The Kennett Township Environmental Advisory Council will hold a hybrid meeting on Tuesday, November 25th at 7:00pm in the Public Meeting Room. Items on the agenda include: Natural landscaping by homeowners, follow ups from October meeting as well as plans for December meeting. The Zoom link can be accessed on the agenda.

BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING RECAP: The Kennett Township Board of Supervisors met on Wednesday, November 19th. The Board adopted Resolutions 2025-20 which amended the Township Holiday Schedule and Resolution 2025-21 which authorized the application for an LSA Grant for the Municipal Expansion Project. In addition, each Department Head presented their October 2025 Department Head reports. The 2026 Budget can be viewed HERE. Click Here to watch the recording of the November 19th meeting. The Board will vote on the proposed 2026 Budget.

From Andrew Wyeth and General Lafayette to the Brandywine River, a notorious local murder, and the recent global attention on escaped fugitive Danilo Cavalcanteâthese diverse subjects all reflect Bruceâs enduring fascination with the people, places, and stories that define the region.
