Kennett Township is seeking one (1) volunteer to serve as a regular member of the Historical Commission. The Commission works to preserve and promote the Township’s rich history and heritage.Interested candidates should submit a Volunteer Form and optional resume to kennett.twp@kennett.pa.us.

Kennett Township is currently seeking volunteers to fill two (2) Alternate Member vacancies on the Zoning Hearing Board. This board hears and decides requests related to zoning variances, special exceptions, and appeals.  Interested candidates are encouraged to submit a Volunteer Form and optional resume to kennett.twp@kennett.pa.us.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Kennett Township Zoning Hearing Board will conduct a public hearing on Thursday April 9, at 7:00 p.m. in the Kennett Township Public Meeting Room to hear the following applications:

Continuation of ZHB 543: 100-400 Exelon Way (UPI Nos. 62-4-15.2A, 62-4-15.2B, 62-4-15.2C and 62-4-15.2D); zoned C Commercial. Variance relief from Section 240-2003 to reduce both the required parking space size and number of spaces.

ZHB 545: 122 Round Hill Road (UPI No. 62-6-16.35); zoned RR Rural Residential. Special exception as required by Township Zoning Code Section 240-1901.A.2.f to exceed the maximum allowable size for an accessory structure.
