Building & Permitting
Kennett Township regulates construction and development activities to ensure projects are safe, code-compliant, and consistent with adopted ordinances. The Township has adopted and enforces the Pennsylvania Uniform Construction Code (UCC), as amended, which establishes statewide standards for building design, construction, accessibility, energy conservation, and safety.
Kennett Township is committed to providing clear guidance and timely reviews to help property owners, contractors, and design professionals navigate the permitting process. By administering the UCC as amended, the Township works to ensure safe buildings, protect property values, and support responsible growth within the community.
